Due to convention in May, a motion was approved at the April membership meeting to move next month's membership meeting to the next available Saturday, June 2, 2012.

Elections are now complete, and CUPE Local 1974 has a full compliment of committees.   All new executive members and committee members are listed under Executive 2012-2014. Congratulations to all of the committee members, and thanks for all of the work you do on behalf of our local!!!!

 Local Executive, Retirees and  Advocates from CUPE Local 1974 travelled to Ottawa on March 27 to protest in front of MPP Bob Chiarilli's office about the Drummond Report!!
